A washable paper towel remains pleasant to use when properly rinsed, washed and dried. The two most common mistakes are leaving a damp sheet in a ball and using more washing products in the hope of making it cleaner.

After light use
If the sheet has only absorbed water or wiped off a few crumbs, rinse it if necessary, wring it out gently and let it air dry. It can be reused for a compatible use or added to the next laundry.
Do not place a still wet leaf in a closed container. Lack of ventilation promotes odors and makes stains more difficult to treat.
After a stain
Intervene before the dirt dries:
- remove excess without aggressively rubbing the print;
- rinse with water appropriate to the nature of the stain;
- only apply a stain remover compatible with the composition and colors;
- then wash the sheet according to its label.
Always test a new product on an inconspicuous area. Bleaching agents and overly aggressive treatments can alter the patterns or fibers.
Machine wash
Caspirolus kitchen towels are suitable for washing at 30 or 40°C. Do not automatically transfer this temperature to another product: materials, prints, pressures and finishes may require different precautions.
Wash the sheets with compatible textiles and without overloading the machine. A properly sized load allows laundry to move and be rinsed. Dose the detergent according to water hardness, load and manufacturer's instructions.
More detergent does not necessarily mean more cleanliness. Residues may remain in the fibers when the dose is excessive or rinsing is insufficient.
Should you use fabric softener?
First of all, follow the product label. On many absorbent textiles, products that leave a film on the fibers can reduce the ability to quickly capture water. If you notice a drop in absorption, check the products used and carry out a correctly dosed wash with a good rinse.
Do not add a homemade mixture or an acidic product without having checked its compatibility with the material, the colors, the snaps and your machine.
Drying and storage
Unfold the sheets straight out of the machine and let them dry completely before stacking them. Good air circulation reduces drying time.
Store them in a dry place, ideally near their area of ​​use. An open basket, a stack in a drawer or a roller formed with pressures are suitable if the sheets are perfectly dry.
What to do if they absorb less?
Proceed in stages:
- check if the textile is really clean or still greasy;
- reduce possible detergent overdose;
- remove products that deposit a film, if the label allows it;
- improve rinsing;
- check the condition of fibers and seams.
A worn or damaged textile will not necessarily regain its initial performance. Avoid radical recipes that could damage it further.
When should you wash immediately?
Wash immediately after heavy soiling, a persistent odor or contact with a sensitive food contaminant. A washable paper towel is not suitable for all situations; when a use requires immediate disposal or a particular hygiene protocol, choose the solution provided for this purpose.
Care of the snaps
Close the snaps without tearing them off by pulling on the fabric. Grasp the two parts of the button to separate them. Before washing, check that no pressure is partially released. A damaged part must be repaired or removed so as not to damage the textile or the machine.
